Game Dev Log #2: Running Text
Hello to everyone reading, I'm back with the second dev log.
Quick thing to mention, no there isn't a new update, I'm trying to finish up the second pathway and plan to introduce a third one based around a larger story rather than small stories that go nowhere.
In the meantime however, we have running text. This means that when the text appears, rather than just appearing, it looks like it is being typed out one by one. I know this isn't revolutionary or new, but I thought it would be great to highlight.
Along with that is the title to the game. In the window, before the upcoming update, I never named the window so we just have this random bunch of numbers together to make the title. So I changed it to Life CYOA - "splash text" with about 10 different splash texts to show, to allow for more and more diversity in the game.
If anyone has different storylines they want added to different parts of the game, please message me and we can talk about the changes and how much further that could lead parts of the disconnected story from the main idea. I really enjoy the idea of community involvement, so once one is actually established I hope to see people trying to help out by giving their own ideas for new story branches.
